At the outset of any new research project it is highly beneficial, and in some cases required, to generate a ‘Research Data Management Plan’ (RDMP). A RDMP helps you organise in advance the resources and tools needed to effectively manage your project’s research data lifecycle, from initial collection, through analysis, and eventually long term archival.
